Audrey Scheck Design oversaw the full house remodel, design, and styling of a newly built home in Austin, TX with the goal of turning a spec home into one that is more reflective of personal style. To add cohesion throughout the two levels, ASD replaced flooring throughout the entire house and repainted the full interior. Wooden sills were removed from all windows throughout the house to modernize the space. The interior stairwell was fully renovated by replacing the handrail, newel, spindles, treads, nosing, and risers. The kitchen was also fully remodeled, including replacing appliances, countertops, backsplash, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Three of the home's bathrooms were completely redone by replacing countertops, tile, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, and the primary bathroom was reconfigured to eliminate an undermount tub and enclose the shower. The project included several custom designed elements such as the marble fireplace surround, primary bathroom vanities, shower doors, kitchen vent hood, and counter depth paneled appliances. ASD also consulted on exterior landscaping and lighting.
