May Covets

Hello, May!
I’m heading into this month feeling especially inspired after a recent trip to California. There were so many quiet moments that have stayed with me. The kind of details you almost overlook at first, but somehow end up shaping the entire feeling of a space. A piece of artwork that felt perfectly at ease where it was placed, afternoon light washing across textured walls, fresh flowers moving gently with the breeze through an open window.
What struck me most was how effortless everything felt. Nothing was overly styled or trying too hard. The spaces felt collected, lived in, and deeply personal in a way that instantly puts you at ease. It was a reminder that some of the most beautiful interiors are often defined by restraint and the quieter layers that reveal themselves over time.
Since being back in Texas, I’ve found myself gravitating toward pieces that capture that same feeling. Natural materials, warm woods, soft textiles, muted tones, and subtle details that bring depth to a space without overwhelming it. Pieces that feel timeless, relaxed, and a little imperfect in the best possible way.
This month’s Covets is a collection inspired by those moments and the slower, softer feeling of the season ahead. A mix of pieces that feel warm, effortless, and easy to live with as we transition into summer.
While I was traveling through California, I found myself documenting so many of the details that inspired me along the way, from beautiful vintage shops to thoughtful spaces that reminded me how impactful the quietest design moments can be. I recently shared a more personal recap from the trip in our newsletter, including a few favorite stops, vintage finds, and behind-the-scenes moments from the week.
