Audrey Scheck Design oversaw the renovation and repairs needed to upgrade the exterior function and curb appeal of this historic, Spanish style home in California. The exterior stucco, trim, pergola, and retaining walls were all painted, and ASD worked with a carpenter to custom design new courtyard and driveway gates. Exterior accents such as the lighting, house numbers, door hardware, and mailbox were updated to reflect a fresh, more modern aesthetic. A landscape architect was brought in to assist with redesigning the front and back yards, including installing artificial turf and drought resistant plants. ASD also partnered with structural engineers to replace the underground drainage and irrigation systems which made the home more marketable.
